Kala ghoda Art Festival 2014

At Kala Ghoda Arts Festival the little people have special precedence - a space where they can learn, laugh, dance and play. Come and participate in workshops and shows that are specially designed to interest curious and cheerful minds. We take no registrations and the children are welcome on first come - first serve basis.

Our thematic for the 2014 festival is 'MINI MOMENTUM’. We look forward to seeing you at our workshops at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maha Vastu Sangrahalaya Gardens.

This year for the first time at the Children's venue, we have...

The exhibit will be held at the Museum Gardens and will be open to the public from Feb 1st to 9th. The Installations will be done by students of various schools and also individual children who will be exhibiting as well as competing for the best Installation trophy! 
The schools participating include - Aditya Birla World Academy, Ascend Int. School, B.D.Somani Int. School, Dhirubhai Ambani Int. School, Ecole Mondiale  Fazlani L'Academie Globale, Hillspring Int. School, MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul, Shardabai Pawar Vidya Niketan, Singapore Int., St. Mary's School ICSE, Pali Chimbai Municipal School (Aseema Charitable Trust), Utpal Sanghvi School. Individual Entries - Avantika Avalokitaa, Chayn S. Kohli, Leia Tyebjee, Vihaan S. Kohli, Mallika Viniet.

Kitab Khana is where we host several children's literature workshops.

Please register with your child's name and age at litkidskgaf14@gmail.com for all the Kitab Khana programs.

A Journey in Love

1:00 pm to 2:30 pm at Museum Gardens

Ameeta Chatterjee, author and philanthropist will read out poems from her book 'A Journey in Love' for children to draw and paint inspired from the poems. Workshop will be held along with ShilpaVaidya of Aatman Academy and all the children and artists who have illustrated in the book. 

Age Group: 6 years and above.

Enjoy Science Theatre with Science Utsav

2:30 pm to 4:00 pm at Museum Gardens

Kids can have fun while understanding the concept of 'Air and Aerodynamics '. They will watch an innovative science show and participate in hands on activities.

Play - Catch that Crocodile

5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at David Sassoon Library

Who will catch that crocodile that’s terrifying everyone in town? Probin policeman with his stick? Can Doctor Dutta do the trick? Find out in this delightful theatre adaptation of Anushka Ravishankar’s book by Gillo Theatre Repertory.
