Hop on - hop off, all aboard the food train! The food industry's rapid growth is leaving everyone behind. New restaurants open every week, and you need to be on an express train to keep up! The Kala Ghoda Food section brings you a culinary smorgasbord of food, a food train that calls in at different stations and allows their chefs to teach you how they make their signature dishes. Learn to create restaurant quality food with ease and comfort. This year's focus is on the increasing presence of the home-cook, the do it yourself caterer, and the growing popularity of these self-motivated individuals.  

The success of any event half depends on the food that it offers. At Kala Ghoda Arts Festival we don’t shy away from the mammoth responsibility of appeasing your curiosity or appetite. Come and relish the culinary delicacies that are sure to should tempt you into extra helpings. Our thematic for the 2014 festival is ‘FOOD TRAIN’. We look forward to seeing you at our workshops conducted by some of Mumbai's master chefs. Look forward to seeing you at Westside and at Gateway Rooms. Participants are welcome on first come - first serve basis.

Amrita Rana, owner of Life Ki Recipe, makes artisan spreads and sells happiness in jars. She's a master at Party Food and she's ready to share some of her best party food recipes. 

Café Zoe

4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Westside

With a focus on exceptional food, Chef Viraf Patel has put together a simple menu, where you get to eat authentic European cuisine at Café Zoe. Learn to make his signature Beetroot Risotto & Truffle Scrambled eggs.  

Pizza workshops

4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Cafe Nico

Delving into the science of pizza and then the option to make your own or eat a pizza.
