Walk with us and discover more about the city that baffles, overwhelms and inspires so many. Come and explore the idea of the city through its heritage, standing tall, embracing the change and welcoming the future.

Our thematic for the 2014 festival is ‘MONUMENTUM’

Participants are welcome on FIRST COME - FIRST SERVE basis and a TOKEN for the walks/bus rides can be collected from the HELP DESK (at the Police Chowki on Rampart Row, near Max Mueller Bhavan[MMB]) a few hours before.

Walk in the premises of the Bombay High Court

1:00 pm at Entrance Gate no. 4 at Bombay High Court

The second largest building after the CST, constructed in the late 19th century designed by Col. J. Fuller of the Royal Engineers, with the imposing turrets, massive central court room, towers surmounted by statues representing Mercy and Justice..... Indulge yourself in the story of the building of stone and mortar that stands testimony to historic events that have shaped a nation.

 

Registrations to be done the same day at the Help desk and Tokens to be collected between 11:00 am and 11:30 am 

(Maximum people - 50 on first come first serve basis)

Note: Only 1 token would be handed over to one person. No email registrations would be accepted.

No cameras/photography is allowed inside the High Court premises. Please carry a valid photo identification also.

Time of Assembly: 12:45 pm with the token

Heritage Bus Tour

4.30 pm at Bus Stop Opposite Regal Cinema

Get on to the Open Bus for a breezy and concise tour of the South Mumbai Heritage  for an hour, and witness landmarks like the Gateway of India, Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai University, High Court, Victoria Terminus, Asiatic Society and many more. The bus will return to the starting point on completion of the tour. 

 

Prior registrations to be done same day and passes need to be collected from the Help Desk between 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm. 

Collection of passes mandatory from the Helpdesk. 

(Restricted no. 75)

Note: Only 1 token would be handed over to one person. No email registrations would be accepted.

Time of Assembly: 4:00 pm with the token
