Kala ghoda Art Festival 2014

I paint mostly from real life. It has to start with that. Real people, real street scenes, behind the curtain scenes, live models, paintings, photographs, staged setups, architecture, grids, graphic design. Whatever it takes to make it work.
-Bob Dylan

This year at Kala Ghoda enjoy the gentle sounds and stories preserved and through many generations. Adorned on either side by craftsmen, artisans organized by our own team; and NGOs under Concern India Foundation, selling their wares from the famous Kala Ghoda stalls, the street will yet again become a living and thriving celebration of different folks and different strokes. There will be food stalls too from the restaurants in the area. The street will change its mood everyday with vibrant performances by folk dancers, musicians and street plays from all over the country. Experience the amazing folk dance forms, sounds of traditional instruments and spectacular costumes as puppeteers, street artists and folk dancers entertain you. They transport us back to traditional times and simpler lives. Our theme for this section is 'THE ROAD SHOW’ and as the name suggests, we look forward to seeing you…on the street at Rampart Row.
