Learn more about arts, lifestyle, photography, dance, cinema, theatre, music and food with Workshops at the KalaGhoda Arts Festival. Industry experts come together to conduct a variety of workshops every day through the course of the festival and are for all ages, mostly adults. Conducted at Artisans', Artists' Centre and Gallery ICIA. The workshops require no registrations and participants are welcome on first come and first serve basis. All Workshops are free. Kindly come half an hour before the workshop begins.

Farzaana Contractor - TALK ON STREET FOOD

11 a.m. - 1.30 p.m. at Artisans'

Indulge your senses in learning about culinary history, and street food in India with the focus on Mumbai and the coming of the restaurant culture. Walk through the historic fort area of Bombay and visualise the change in fabric with changes of social strata incorporating the function of public dining and emergence of café's and restuarants. Visit the few surviving Irani Café's dotting the fort area upto Ballard Estate.


Food Heritage Walk starts at 4 p.m. from Rythm House. To be conducted by Kruti Garg, Shraddha Bhatawadekar


Prof. Amrutha Joshi - Discover The Fascinating World Of Languages

2.30 p.m. - 4.30 p.m. at Artists' Centre


Located in the heart of mumbai, shivaji park. As the name speaks, its an academy for the study of Foreign languages and culture. Here one does not simply learn a language but a new lifestyle is offered.


Tea For Each Part of the Day

Experience a Fine Tea Ceremony of Organic Limited-Edition leaves sourced from plantations around the world, by famed Tea Sommelier Radhika Batra as you get to sample "Tea for Each part of the day" from Breakfast to Quiet Moment Tea along with alot of Tea Trivia.
