Kala ghoda Art Festival 2013

Heritage Walks

"Seven islands soaked up the sea to leave land for an infanta’s dowry, For two hundred years and more the tides have swept the world ashore"….Gerson Da Cunha

Mumbai - a city of myriad personalities. A city whose history is influenced by illustrious empires, a city which finds order in chaos, and amidst the pace and pause, a city of evolving dreams and manifestations of cultural ethos. Walk with us and discover more about the city that baffles, overwhelms and inspires so many. Come and explore the idea of the city through its Heritage, standing tall, embracing the change and welcoming the future.

Our thematic for the 2013 festival is 'CHANGESCAPE'. Participants are welcome on first come - first serve basis and a token for the walks can be collected from the Festival Help Desk.

We sincerely thank Anne Thomas, Mohit Hirlekar, Rahul Gupta, Apoorva Nanjangud, Ashwin Chandran, Mumbai University, Kenneseth Eliyahoo Synagogue for their support and collaboration.
