They say literature feeds the curiosity of the soul and sets the mind on newer adventures. This year at KalaGhoda Arts Festival come and be a part of book launches, discussions and poetry sessions. Get inspired at the panel discussions and participate in workshops and quizzes.

Our thematic for the 2013 festival is 'THE BOOK OF CHANGES'.  We look forward to seeing you at David Sasoon Library and Kitab Khana where we will host several children's workshops.

Cultural Journalism Workshop with Jerry Pinto

Jerry Pinto has conducted workshops for Essar and for Tata Institute of Social Sciences, for Sophia SCM at the Sophia Polytechnic and for Childline and for MelJol. He has also conducted workshops in Amsterdam and Jaipur, with school students and with college students and with adults. Jerry has taught at XIC and at SIES, at KC College and at Elphinstone, in the refresher courses at the University of Mumbai and at IIT-Chennai.

Saumitra:Kishore Kadam, a vibrant actor on stage and cinema: is equally popular in the literary elite and to the masses by his pen name "Saumitra" for his sensitive lyrics, as he is known for his title songs for Marathi serials like Avantika and Ek Dhaga Sukhacha. He has given the fantastic performance in the recent film "Natrang" for which he was awarded with Special Jury Award of the Best Performer 2008 - 2009 in the International Film Festival. The new era in Marathi films have spectatored Kishore's wide-ranging performance in Jogwa, Pangira and Ek Cup Chaha. Kishore Kadam's breathtaking entry in Hindi film Black Friday directed by Anurag Kashyap have led his impact over the niche of the layman.

Milind Ingle: Milind Ingle is a fifth generation singer hailing from the prestigious Gwalior Gharana. Son of Pandit Madhav Ingale, a leading exponent of classical music, Milind comes from enviable lineage. Milind’s grandfather and great grandfather were singers at the Royal Courts of Ichalkaranji and Sangli in Maharashtra, India. Milind has received training in classical music from Pt. Yashwantbua Joshi. Also, he has been extremely fortunate to have been a pupil of the celebrated Late Shri K. Mahavir and Shri Rajkumar Rizvi, who taught him the finer points of Ghazal singing.
