Theatre - a gregarious form that combines arts, dance, music, literature to create masterpieces that fire away the imagination of the audience.  At the KalaGhoda Arts Festival watch international acts , veterans and amateur directors put together plays across many genres and languages.

Our thematic for the 2013 festival is 'PLAY FOR CHANGE'. The Theatre Programs this year would be conducted at at Horniman Circle Garden, NGMA, Max Mueller Bhavan, Artists' Centre, Starbucks at Fort and David Sassoon Library.

The play is about Birsa Munda, a tribal leader from Jharkhand, who inspired his people to stand up for their rights, initially through a peaceful manner and later via 'do or die' means.
