Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2012 takes pride in introducing a new culinary art section - ‘Food’. Mumbai's celebrity chefs and landmark restaurants will embark on a 9 day journey to conduct food demonstrations and workshops on varied cuisines from India and around the world celebrating the myriad forms, colours, textures, aromas, tastes and flavours of food in abundant glory! Workshops will be held at popular restaurant 5 All Day, located at Hotel Apollo in Colaba from 4pm-6pm.
Don’t miss Rahul Akerkar of Indigo fame as he displays his gastronomy skills; Asian Chef of the year Milind Sovani as he reengineers Indian dishes with an artistic contemporary twist; Alex Sanchez of The Table as he shares his recipe for delicious Red Beet Risotto; Pooja Dhingra of Le 15 Patisserie’s sweet secrets of mouth-watering truffles. Other highlights include workshops with chefs from Le Pain Quotidien, Neel and Busaba and the bartenders from Woodside Inn. |
