Mumbai’s culinary palette is evolving every day. Greater importance is being placed on fresh, organic, locally grown food. That quite a few restaurants in Kalaghoda source their ingredients directly from local farmers speaks for itself.

Our food festival titled ‘Horse Radish’ is a nod to this trend in Mumbai’s food scene.

This year our food demonstrations and talks by known chefs are being held  at Cross Maidan, with a few taking place at Westside. Each workshop has been tailored around the likes of the people who enjoy KGAF. Ranveer Brar, Ajay Chopra, Rakhee Vaswani, Pooja Dhingra and Rushina Munshaw Ghildiyal will all be at the festival this year!

The highlight of this section is the market space at Cross Maidan that introduces brands and restaurants that work with local produce and Indian suppliers. Stalls include Rajasthani (Aapno Rajasthani Caterers), Kashmiri (Kashmir ki Kahaani), Tibetan (Mo:Mo), Kohli (Sadhana Kitchen) and Indian desserts (Shahi Durbar) to name a few!
