The Music section at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival brings together people who share a common language – the language of music. Lovers of music have year after year, appreciated the music line up that explores different genres and gives a stage to popular artists as well as folk musicians who have enthralled audiences in equal measure.
There is no greater feeling that listening to the sounds of the master playing his sitar under a canopy of stars, on a stage lined by trees and backed by heritage buildings. The music section at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival has always been special, more so because of its unusual locations – Cross Maidan and the Asiatic Library Steps.
Noted names performing at the festival will be:
- Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia

- Leap (Mentored by AR Rahman)
- Violipiano (a collaboration between Italy and India, an Italian jazz musician and two percussionists)
