Workshops —an ambiguous title which hides in its folds nuggets from the fields of art, music, film, dance, literature, photography, fitness, cartooning and much more, is like the proverbial salt—simple, unassuming and discreet, but miss it and you miss the flavours of the Festival!
It brings together dancers, musicians, writers, jewellery makers, waste upcyclers, painters and intellectuals to add to the spirit of KGAF ‘19. The aim is to introduce participants to new experiences which leave them more enriched in mind and body.
WORKSHOPS at KGAF ’19 will be held at three venues: Artists’ Centre, Artisans’ And Somaiya Centre For Lifelong Learning. Entry to all the workshops is free and there is no pre-registration.
Come and be a part of this eclectic experience. This year’s Workshop theme is “Zest” wherein we celebrate unique way of bettering and expressing ourselves with gusto. Our carefully selected workshops are just another element of the riotous 20th anniversary celebrations at the festival this year. Our tagline–”In everything that must be done, there is an element of fun”—immortalised in the classic “Mary Poppins” – perfectly sums up the spirit and soul of WORKSHOPS and KGAF ‘19.
