Every day the Rampart Row will come alive with colourful performances by folk dancers and musicians from different parts of the country. Discover amazing folk dance forms, sounds of traditional instruments and stunning costumes as you get entertained by puppeteers, Nat artists and folk dancers.
Some of the street highlights include Lezim and Lavani from Maharashtra, the remarkable Hojagiri dance of the indigenous Tripura community of Chittagong Hill tracts, Samai dance of the Goan peasant community performed with metallic lamps, Kavadi Kadgam- a folk dance from Tamil Nadu, Ghasiyari dance of Uttarakhand with an accompaniment of ranasingha- the huge S-shaped horn and many more. |
